A key proponent of Minimalism, Robert Mangold is known for reducing visual language to its essential elements of line, shape, and color. Beginning his printmaking practice in the late 1960s, he used techniques such as aquatint and lithography to explore subtle variations within simple geometric forms. The medium allowed him to experiment with repetition, proportion, and spatial relationships, emphasizing how forms fit together, or deliberately do not. This edition is richly inked and presents beautifully.
